DONNA P. BUTLER, CHC, AADP is a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition: affiliated with Columbia University. It is the only school in the world providing a fully integrative approach to health education that emphasizes the personal, social and political contexts of diet, nutrition and well-being. Donna is nationally certified as a Nutritional Health Counselor with an advanced certification in counseling. She is accredited by The American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
No one way of eating can work for everyone. My mission as a Nutritional Health Counselor and Educator is to help you let go of the diet cycle, so you can be free to live your life on your terms. Your weight is not who you are. Isn’t it time to let go of old messages about body size and quick weight loss? After all, one size does not fit all.
I offer individual counseling, as well as a six month nutritional health program that specializes in helping you shape your future; one step at a time. You will receive individual support throughout the program with a personal review every two weeks, along with email communication on a regular basis. I will help you develop new ways of thinking around nutrition, lifestyle and personal growth. You will learn how to nourish your mind, body and spirit with compassion and understanding. Food allows you to create your own health. You are worth feeling well every day of your life.
My program is not restricting in any way. On the contrary, foods will be added to your diet in an effort to help decrease cravings and binge eating. These same foods will help support your health and well being. I will address the emotions that trigger these dietary behaviors. Negative self worth will be addressed helping you learn the skills to eliminate the critical voices in your head. You will learn how to get out of your own way.
I am committed to helping you be successful. Whatever happened before today is okay. Life is all about change. There is no need to struggle.
